The simple act of moving products from the factory to the store is one of the major contributory factors to carbon emissions. Imagine all those bottles of water that have to be imported from the continent.

Now think of a mineral water source right here in the UK. In fact, just 90 minutes from one of the largest cities in Europe. That’s why we want the people of Britain to start enjoying the great taste of Silver Spring water – made right here in Britain.

We’ve always cared about the environment. We were one of the first companies to:

• use recyclable polyethylene terephththalate (RPET) plastic that can be recycled again and again.
• reduce our packaging. Since 2006 we’ve cut the amount of card we use by 203 tons, the amount of plastic by 618 tons and the amount of poluethylene by 164 tons.
• to bring all our operations under one roof making our own bottles, lids and labels on site to cut transportation.
• increase the amount of natural ingredients in our drinks, reducing chemicals and additives.

In doing this, we have ensured that our great high value, low cost ethos remains – we’re not passing the cost of trading ethically on to you.
