Manufacturing soft drinks since 1870, Silver Spring continue to be the UK’s largest independent soft drinks company.  With 7 PET bottling lines, the capacity to produce over 4 million bottles a week, plus the new addition of a glass line means Silver Spring are well placed to handle a wide variety of bottle types, labels or sleeves, as well as offer an extensive selection of drink types from sports energy to natural spring water, kids high juice to traditional mixers, value carbonates to high end dilutes, the list goes on.

Contract Packing

Their hundred year plus heritage speaks for itself, Silver Spring continue to lead the soft drinks industry so it’s not surprising to learn that in addition to their own brands they also contract pack for a number of major national brands and own label products.  Offering the flexibility of a small organisation but the expertise only usually available with much larger factories, Silver Spring work closely with each of their clients to ensure total satisfaction, resulting in the production of the best quality products.

Brands we work with

A large proportion of the work carried out by Silver Spring is in the own label sector, working with retailers to ensure they have the best quality products in their own portfolio.  In recent years this sector has enjoyed an increased in sales as consumers look for quality products by trusted brands at a reduced cost.  The work with do at Silver Spring ensures that our clients’ products are kept up-to-date with latest trends in flavours, functionality and packaging.  Because of the lower investment thresholds usually available, it is often a sector that is harder to innovate, but with long standing relationships with major retailers Silver Spring have enabled them to become leaders in their fields, often creating products that sell above leading brands.

New Product Development (NPD) is the heart of the business, it’s here where the ideas for new flavours, functionality and ingredients begin.  A team of extremely passionate New Product Development technicians with combined experience spanning over 60 years, take a product through from concept to production and everything in between.  Our NPD team innovate without compromising quality.  They are simply the best in the business and it is this team that our customers work closely with to product exciting new products as well as flavour matching existing ranges.
